The location of this hotel is simply breathtaking. Situated next to the river, it offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. On top of that, it is conveniently located near the bus stop, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. I loved the charming wooden bridge that you have to cross to get here, it really adds to the experience.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Spending Christmas at this secluded ryokan with beautiful outdoor onsens was truly magical. The private indoor pools were perfect for cold evenings. The food was amazing, I couldn't get enough of the local wagyu beef. The attractive and cozy yukatas were a delight too.
Although parking was very limited in the narrow streets around the hotel, it was more than worth it. The town is rather small and not many activities were available during our stay, but the central location made it convenient for exploring the nearby mountain trails.

I had a wonderful stay at a small and cosy ryokan with attentive staff. The location was perfect, right on the short Onsen Street. The staff spoke Cantonese, which was a nice bonus. The outdoor onsen was beautiful, surrounded by a bamboo grove. The private dining rooms for dinner were a nice touch. I highly recommend this ryokan for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Perched on a hillside with a wooden bridge over a river, the hotel was in a perfect location for everything, with some shops nearby. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the river. the bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with all amenities. We were impressed by the service; the staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and polite. the breakfast was filling and delicious.
We had difficulty communicating with the staff as they didn't speak very good English.

The onsen experience was great. Being able to have a private onsen was a real treat, and the facilities were well-maintained. the complimentary breakfast offered a decent variety of Japanese dishes. the location also made it convenient for me to reach my business meetings.
The staff struggled with English and I had difficulty communicating with them. the bedding was quite thin and uncomfortable, leading to a poor night's sleep.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
